Asialink

Asialink promotes public understanding of the countries of Asia and creates links with Asian counterparts. It enables Australians to contribute to and benefit from the dynamism of Asia through three major programs, one of which is the Arts.
In particular, it offers Arts Residencies and Fellowships which provide opportunities for Australian artists, performers, writers and arts managers to live and work in the Asian region. Asialink's Residency Program offers residencies in Visual Arts and Crafts Performing Arts, Arts Management and Literature.
The fellowship most recently offered was with Ishara Puppet Theatre in New Delhi who are hosting a three-month fellowship for a puppeteer who can build puppets, run workshops and do the odd public speaking engagement.
Applications for 2004 closed in September, but its worth taking a look now for next year.
