Gary Friedman Productions : Puppetry-for-Television Workshop, October - December 2004 2004

This hands-on-workshop, lead by experienced puppeteer and television director, Gary Friedman, will be an introduction to using puppets for television and will include basic puppet design and construction; manipulation for the television camera; body movement; lip-synchronisation and eye focus. Participants will develop, perform and direct short scenarios for the camera in small groups. These will be filmed and reviewed in discussion groups.

Venue : Seymour Theatre, University of Sydney
When : Wednesday evenings from 6pm to 9pm, 13 October to 1 December 2004.
Early bird fee : $340 (for only those subscribed and paid by 20 August 2004)
Normal course fee : $380
Max participants : 15
Each participant may purchase a Video CD/DVD copy of their work, on completion of the course.
This fee excludes puppet making materials. A list will be supplied and must be brought by all participants to the course. All video and technical equipment will be supplied by us!
