FREE Wayang Kulit Puppetry Workshop/Performance at National Gallery of Australia! (ACT)
The National Gallery of Australia is organising a workshop and performance of Wayang Kulit Puppetry in July. They are hoping there will be some interest from local and interstate artists! Given they have a really big Indonesian Contemporary Worlds exhibition coming up early next year, which will also feature shadow puppet works, with an associated artist in residence program (they believe), we hope this may build into something bigger for the puppetry community here next year.
